Since 1935, AACA has had one goal: The preservation and enjoyment of automotive history of all types. From National Meets and Tours to Regional events, AACA is here to bring enthusiasts together through exciting National activities, and friendship.
A club devoted to the enjoyment of antique automobiles through road trips, parades, exhibitions and friendly competition. Their membership is diverse in age, census and preference of make of car, but unite in the delight of saving antique vehicles from the ravages of time.
What they like to do is get a convoy together to tour Texas Hill Country back roads. These roads lead through our beautiful South Texas Countryside. They usually end with a visit to one of the many historical sites or towns we have here in abundance. That’s the point in the trip when we eat the local faire – drink the local beverages – shop the local shops – and generally do their bit to be merry.
The West Texas Region had it's first offical meeting May 26, 1959. This club is known for their monthly drives and participation in various local events. They also cohost the annual Grand Ole Tour along with the San Angelo car club.
San Angelo Cars and Coffee is held on the third Saturday of every month from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in The Golden Corral parking lot off Houston-Harte.
