Wool Capital Region Car Club of San Angelo, Texas
This club is one of the oldest family friendly automobile clubs in San Angelo. The Wool Capital Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America was established in 1962 with 15 members and over 50 years later still continues to be enjoyed by vintage and classic car enthusiasts. Since 1935, AACA and the Wool Capital Region Club have shared one goal: The preservation and enjoyment of automotive history of all types.
Activities and Car Tours
Club activities include from local drives, parade participation, state and local car tours, supporting other local car events, e.g., Cars and Coffee, Cars on the Patio, and other showings. In addition, we also host a tour every other year with the AACA Midland car club (classicmemories.com) known as the Grand Ole Tour. This tour has been a West Texas tradition for over 55 years and is usually held in the Fall.
